Esme was an excellent host, so helpful and really welcoming. The room was perfect, nice bathroom, spacious and a lovely outdoor seating area. The Slaley Country House, steeped in history and surrounded by stunning wineries, provides a serene escape near Stellenbosch. Managed by the Hunting Family, this estate oozes charm and offers thoughtful amenities such as a minibar, premium bedding, and free WiFi, ensuring a luxurious stay. The property boasts a terrace, garden, and attached winery, allowing guests to indulge in the flavors of the region. From the floodlit tennis court to the secluded pool house, every corner exudes elegance. My partner and I enjoyed a private tour of the vineyards, savoring wines dating back to the 1950s, a testament to the estate's rich heritage. We also relished a meal at the on-site restaurant, overlooking the Simonsberg mountains as we dined on exquisite cuisine.
